James W. Ross,of Bedias-Shiro, Tx. was born Ma.r. 25, 1956, in Bryan (Brazos Co.),Tx to the parentage of Corine Ross and Nathaniel McWhorter, Sr. He attended the community schools, in Navasota, Grimes Co., Tx. & his business enterprize include Auto Mechanics. James's religious spirit allowed him to deliver the Word of the Lord to many. His hobbies include caring for Animals. He was preceded in death , by his parents ; siblings, Arthor Ross, Wilson Stewart, Sr. , Sally Ross Whiting; and other silbings, Charlie, Dorothy , Nell, Calvin, Daniel and Glady McWhorter, and Step-mother, Edna McWhorter. James expired December 01 st at the College Station, Scott & WHite Hospital, following a brief illness. James leaves pleasant memories, to cherish with his sister, Georgia Ross- Shavers of Houston, Tx. ; brothers, Truman Ross of Houston, Tx., Albert and Harvey Ross, Jr. of Navasota, Tx. and other collateral relatives and friends. Cremation Services - December, 2025 InURNment was held Friday, December 19, 12 NOON @ the Walker County, Tx. - Foster Cemetery, 5540 Hwy 30, East @ Galloway Road.
